With all of the talk about 20tick and hit registration issues, I felt like I should talk about connectivity icons that sometimes appear during a match. I see the red box with the hazard and lightning bolt symbol inside it on the top left of my screen every time I disconnect. The three cards are packet loss and the lightning bolt is your (poor) connection to the server. Occasionally, right after the lag-out I will be kicked from Overwatch servers entirely.
